Reviews
I just put four relatively new reviews up (that I've been slacking on) and I'm sure there will be more on the way sooner than I can predict. The reviews are something we're definitely going to expand on, so keep an eye open. We'll probably open it up to let you guys submit them, too, eventually.
It's not quite in a final state, though. There are a few lists and stuff that I'm not quite sure how to fit into the layout at the moment, and again, more to come.
In the process I ended up over-writing the main page of the website with the newly-done reviews page. The moral of the story? Always, always, always keep a backup of your work. Always. If you do any kind of work electronically—whether it's writing, designing, photography—you will lose your work at some point. Keep backups!
Record Store Day and Pretty Pictures
February 20, 2008
April 19th is Record Store Day! From recordstoreday.com:
On this day, all of these stores will simultaneously link and act as one with the purpose of celebrating the culture and unique place that they occupy both in their local communities and nationally.
We also made up this neato banner for us a while ago that our MySpace friends have probably seen. Some people have asked how they could post the banner on their page to help us advertise, which is super cool of them, so for the sake of ease we're going to add some simple copy-and-paste code that you can just throw up on your MySpace or your blog or wherever you want. Below is the code for that as well as the code for two different versions of Record Store Day ads.

More banners available here. We'll probably get around to making a few more for Sound It Out someday, too... but are you in any hurry? I mean, it's a soaring eagle. Come on.
Continuing changes
January 12, 2008
The "about" page has been updated. This is not the final state of the page, but for now there is a little bit there, and more importantly, a newly added FAQ. Check it out.
In addition to those changes, there should be a few reviews and lists posted by the time you read this. If not, then I'm a liar (they'll be there soon, though!).
Website redesign
December 26, 2007
I've spent a significant amount of time these past few weeks practically redoing this entire website. So far everyone seems to be responding positively.
The actual designing is, as far as I can see, totally complete. The links above will be filled in with their own content soon to complete the transformation. I've posted two blogs going over the changes: the first basically just explains the blog itself, the second one goes over the other changes you will see on the site. Give them a read if you like and let me know what you think.
